There isn't too much of a story right now, it's supposed to be a sort of western inspired game, with a lot of aspects inspired from Zelda II of all things, with the whole world map thing where you can find small towns and visit them, but instead of playing like platformers, those sections would play more like A Link to the Past, as they'd be top-down >:D
